Dr. Lindsey Cecil was born in Spartanburg, SC and grew up attending Clemson football games with her family. She received her undergraduate at Clemson University with a bachelor of arts in biology. After college she moved to Charleston to attend medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed her residency training at the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine; her special interests are women’s health (including birth control management and osteoporosis), preventative medicine, and psychiatry. Dr. Cecil and her husband Christopher, have a son named James, a daughter named Avery, and black lab named Bailey. She enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling, and reading.
